On the morning of February 11, Yin Xirui, Secretary of the Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Yantai High-tech Industrial Development Zone, led a team to Yantai Longgang Pump Industry Co., Ltd. to conduct a safety production supervision and inspection. The heads of the Administrative Office, Economic Development Bureau, and Emergency Management Bureau of the Zone Working Committee and Management Committee participated in the inspection.
In the exhibition hall of Longgang Pump, Yin Xirui carefully listened to the company’s introduction regarding its development history, technological process improvements, and industrial layout. He inspected the high-efficiency centrifugal pumps and accessories independently developed by the company, and fully affirmed the company’s dedication to independent innovation in recent years. In the assembly workshop, Yin Xirui gained a detailed understanding of the company’s arrangements for production safety before and after the Spring Festival. In alignment with Yantai City’s recent work arrangements on production safety and the requirements of the “Three Meetings, Three Inspections” work initiative, he reviewed the implementation of the company’s production safety responsibility system, the operation and maintenance of safety equipment and interlock systems in higher-risk areas such as machining centers and paint booths, the implementation of leadership on-duty shifts, and the progress of the “Four Special” rectification campaigns.
Yin Xirui emphasized that as the Spring Festival approaches, various risk factors overlap and intertwine, making it a period prone to frequent and severe production safety incidents. Enterprises must remain constantly vigilant regarding production safety, conduct comprehensive and thorough inspections and rectifications of potential accident hazards in line with their industry-specific conditions, striving for “full coverage, zero tolerance, and tangible results.” It is essential to regularize safety training and emergency drills, deepen the establishment of dual prevention systems, and resolutely eliminate the “three violations” of personnel behavior. All regulatory departments must deeply recognize the extreme importance and urgency of current production safety work, resolutely overcome complacency, negligence, and luck-based mentality, learn from past cases, reflect critically, strictly adhere to the principle of “three managements and three musts” in production safety, focus on key areas, comprehensively control risks, and meticulously and practically carry out all safety prevention measures.
